Bantham is situated at the mouth of the River Avon in Bigbury Bay.

The beach, which is approximately 300 meters from the accommodation, is probably the finest undeveloped stretch of soft sand in the South Hams. Ideal for children, it has many rock pools for them to play in.

The Coastal Path surrounds the bay with wonderful views out to sea or inland over the flower filled hedgerows and fields.

Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth and Totnes are all within easy reach.

Slightly further away is the Dartmoor National Park and the cities of Plymouth and Exeter.
